STAYING NOURISHED DURING RAMADAN
- Stay hydrated: While eating and drinking are both not permitted during the fasting period (sunrise to sunset), make sure to drink lots of water for Iftar and Suhour to stay hydrated throughout the day.
- A wholesome Suhour: An essential meal to load up on before the beginning of every day’s fast. It’s important to have an energizing Suhour to help keep you full and energetic throughout the day.
- Don’t fill up on Iftar: Filling up too quickly on the first meal during Iftar is always tempting. But it can leave you feeling bloated and unable to eat/snack throughout the night. Go slow and enjoy every bite.
- Minimize caffeine: Reducing coffee (a big deal for me, personally) is a big part in keeping myself nourished and
