How To Store Leftovers

Store leftover bunny bait snack mix in an airtight container, at room temperature, for up to 4 days. I don’t recommend storing the snack mix in the fridge or freezer.

Recipe Tips

  • Good Quality White Chocolate : Because the white chocolate really stands out in this recipe, I recommend using a good quality one that you love. I love using the Ghiradelli white chocolate baking bars or the Ghiradelli white chocolate melting wafers. If using chips, I recommend using white chocolate chips instead of the vanilla flavored chips – but again, anything can be used depending on what you have. White almond bark is another option.
  • Fresh Ingredients : Make sure the cereal and pretzels are fresh and not stale – otherwise you will lose that classic crunch of the bunny bait. If your kids are like mine, they leave the cereal bags open in the pantry – so make sure your cereal and pretzels are unopened for the best results.
  • Melted Chocolate Tip : Once the chocolate is melted it’s important that you immediately pour it over the cereal mix and mix it thoroughly. The chocolate will harden and set fairly quickly so move quickly in order to get mixed in so all the cereal is coated nicely in it.
