You know what they say: St. Patrick’s Day is the one day of the year when everybody’s Irish—even if you’re not. From parades and family-friendly events to bottomless green beer and adult shenanigans, Las Vegas offers a little something for everyone this time of year.

Luckily for you, Things To Do In Las Vegas put together this handy guide of the best things to do for St. Patrick’s Day in Vegas.

Irish Pubs

One of the things we do best here in Vegas? Making you feel like you’re in wildly different parts of the world all at once. Travel back in time to the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, visit ancient Egypt at the Luxor, find out if a pirate’s life is for you at Treasure Island—you get the picture. Thanks to the dozens of Irish pubs both on and off the Strip, you can drink like a proper Irishman any day of the year. Check out some of our faves below.

Rí Rá Irish Pub

Located inside the Mandalay Bay, Rí Rá Irish Pub is as authentic as it gets on this side of the Atlantic. With live music performances every night of the week, a dim and cozy interior, and more than 60 beers to choose from, Rí Rá is a great lowkey locale to spend the holiday. While you’re at the Mandalay Bay, take a sip back in time by grabbing a drink at the traditional speakeasy 1923 Bourbon Bar before rounding out the night with live music at the world-famous House of Blues.

Nine Fine Irishmen

Nine Fine Irishmen in New York New York takes Irish-inspired to a whole new level—this pub was literally built in Ireland before being shipped over to the U.S. The pub’s name is a nod to the nine Irish nationalists who were sentenced to death after fighting valiantly for Ireland’s independence in 1848.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served at Nine Fine Irishmen, so plan your visit any time during the day for an excellent St. Patrick’s Day in Vegas.

Hennessey’s Tavern

With its iconic exterior (an 85-foot tall pint glass) lighting up the historic Fremont Street Experience, Hennessey’s Tavern serves up delicious food, frequent drink specials, and nightly live music. For a true downtown Las Vegas experience, drink a pint on the patio outside, where you’ll be dazzled by the overhead Viva Vision Light Show while you enjoy the unique energy of downtown— a can’t miss on any Vegas vacation.
