If you’ve never spent St. Patrick’s Day in Las Vegas, you’re in for a real treat, because Sin City does St. Paddy’s Day unlike anyone else. Important COVID-19 Safety Information: Restrictions on public gatherings in Nevada are expected to decrease beginning on March 15, 2021. Either 250 persons or 50% of a business’s fire code capacity (whichever is less) will be allowed to gather in any area. Until this directive goes into effect, the limit on public gatherings remains at 100 people or 35% of the listed fire code capacity, whichever is less.

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend at the Fremont Street Experience

The Fremont Street Experience is one of the liveliest places to be on St. Patrick’s Day in Las Vegas, and 2021 will be no exception. According to organizers, the street mall will be open and Viva Vision (a 1,400 foot-long overhead video screen) will be “sham-rockin’”. Admission is totally free, and no tickets will be required to enjoy everything downtown Fremont has to offer.

Mask up, don your most outrageous leprechaun attire, and get ready to party all weekend long. Keep in mind that visitors to St. Patrick’s Day Weekend must be 18 years of age or older with valid ID OR be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or hotel guest after 9:00 p.m.

O’Sheas Pub is a boisterous Irish-style pub located inside the LINQ Hotel and Casino. Traditionally, LINQ holds a BLOQ party every St. Patrick’s Day in Las Vegas that goes the whole nine yards, including a parade, live bands, bagpipers, and more. Due to the uncertainty surrounding loosening COVID-19 restrictions, no such party has yet been scheduled for 2021.

However, a trip to O’Sheas is always a guaranteed good time. Be on the lookout for food and drink specials in addition to blackjack and roulette tables and the high-energy social environment fans have come to expect from O’Sheas. And while you’re here, you might as well enjoy a ride on the High Roller, which should be decked out in green in celebration of the holiday.

COVID-19 Considerations: Per the LINQ’s health and safety protocols, tables, chairs, and barstools will be arranged to allow for social distancing. Guests will be able to order from the bar while maintaining social distance from others. Bartenders will also provide hand sanitizer to each customer.

St. Patrick’s Day at Hennessey’s Tavern

Join the revelry at Hennessey’s Tavern on St. Patrick’s Day from breakfast until the wee hours of the morning. Enjoy prime rib, mashed potatoes and gravy, and Yorkshire pudding while you try to unravel the mystery of who really killed Patty O’Brien—the Mob? His attorney? His daughter? Tickets start at $115.

COVID-19 Considerations: There are a limited number of seats available for this event. Tables are available for parties of two to six people and will be spaced at least six feet apart. Guests are required to wear face masks when not seated at a table with food or drink.

This free St. Patrick’s Day parade, hosted by the Las Vegas Firefighters Benefit Association along with local bar , is a downtown favorite. The parade usually starts at Fremont Street and 3rd, making its way to the 3rd Street Stage (located between The D and Four Queens), where Irish dance and bagpipe performances are held.

The parade is open to all, including families, although only those 21 years and older will be admitted into Hogs & Heifers for additional St. Paddy’s celebrations and libations. The customary challenge games will not be held this year due to COVID-19 concerns, but this event should still be a fun time for kids and adults alike.
